We spent 4 nights in a Deluxe Room with Two King Beds, and the artwork around the hotel was really cool. The pool and relaxing lounge area were perfect for unwinding after a busy day. A minor hiccup was waiting a bit longer for drinks, but it didn’t ruin our stay. 😊

Great location, but service needs work
I stayed for 1 night and overall, the place is nice. Loved the clean, quiet room and the view of the Grand Canal was a treat! The bar/lounge area is cool too. But wow, the service was lacking—waited way too long to get menus and drinks while some influencers got all the attention.

I stayed in a Superior King Room and it was super comfy. Modern decor really sets the vibe. The bathroom was lovely! It had all the nice amenities you’d want. I loved the coffee machine in the room too—it made mornings easier! Overall, the comfort factor was on point, but I’d say the air conditioning struggled a bit at night. Still, pretty minor in the grand scheme!

Amazing location near Dublin city center. The Superior King Room had comfy beds, a big flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with a refreshing shower. Breakfast by the canal was a highlight with a choice of hot and cold foods. Staff was super helpful in accommodating special requests. Free gym access adds to the value.

The room was well-equipped with thoughtful details like a coffee press and ample drinking water. The atmosphere was modern and welcoming, underscored by the friendly staff. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a buffet with a varied selection, but the noise levels could disrupt a restful environment at times. The gym was commendable, well outfitted for a good workout session during the stay.

I loved the location of Nyx Hotel Dublin Portobello. It’s a short walk to Temple Bar and right by the bus stop, which made getting around super easy. The decor grabbed my attention. modern and stylish with artistic touches everywhere. The toiletries provided were top-notch, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Gabriela, who gave me great tips on local attractions. On the downside, my pillows had dirty cases, which was disappointing. The temperature in the hotel felt too warm, making it a little uncomfortable at times. I also noticed there was no bottled water provided, and drinks from the bar seemed overpriced. Furthermore, the fire drill caught staff off guard, leading to some confusion. I was left wishing for a few more amenities like Q-tips in the room, but these were minor compared to the overall positive experience.
